პროექტის მიზნები

·         ცხოველებთან დაკავშირებული ლექსიკური მარაგის გამდიდრება;

·         მარტივი წინადადებებით ცხოველის აღწერის უნარის განვითარება;

·         ზედსართავი სახელების გამოყენება ცხოველის გარეგნობისა და თვისებების აღსაწერად;

·         ინფორმაციის მოძიების, შერჩევისა და ორგანიზების უნარის განვითარება;

·         შემოქმედებითი უნარების განვითარება ცხოველის დახატვისა და ნამუშევრის გაფორმების საშუალებით;

·         ზეპირი მეტყველებისა და პრეზენტაციის უნარების განვითარება;

·         სწორი გამოთქმისა და მარტივი წინადადებების აგების უნარის გაუმჯობესება;

·         აუდიტორიის წინაშე საუბრისას თავდაჯერებულობის განვითარება;

პროექტის მიმდინარეობა

I ეტაპი – Vocabulary
მოსწავლეები გაეცნობიან და გაიმეორებენ ცხოველების, ფერების, ზომის, სხეულის ნაწილებისა და თვისებების აღმნიშვნელ სიტყვებს.

II ეტაპი – Choosing an animal
თითოეული მოსწავლე აირჩევს მისთვის საყვარელ ცხოველს.

III ეტაპი – Drawing
მოსწავლეები დახატავენ თავიანთ საყვარელ ცხოველს და მიუთითებენ მის ძირითად მახასიათებლებს.

IV ეტაპი – Writing
მოსწავლეები მარტივი წინადადებებით აღწერენ ცხოველს: რა ფერისაა, რა ზომისაა, რა აქვს, რისი გაკეთება შეუძლია და როგორი ხასიათი აქვს.

V ეტაპი – Presentation
თითოეული მოსწავლე წარადგენს ნამუშევარს კლასის წინაშე და რამდენიმე წინადადებით ისაუბრებს თავის საყვარელ ცხოველზე.

მოსალოდნელი შედეგი

პროექტის ბოლოს მოსწავლე შეძლებს მარტივი ინგლისური სიტყვებისა და წინადადებების გამოყენებით საყვარელი ცხოველის აღწერას, საკუთარი ნამუშევრის დამოუკიდებლად წარდგენას და შესაბამისი ლექსიკის პრაქტიკაში გამოყენებას.

ძირითადი აქცენტი

პროექტში მთავარი აქცენტი გაკეთდება არა რთულ გრამატიკაზე, არამედ მარტივი ლექსიკის სწორად გამოყენებაზე, საუბარზე, შემოქმედებითობასა და პრეზენტაციის უნარზე.

MINI PROJECT – “MY HERO”
Grade VII | Duration: 2–3 lessons | Grammar: Present Simple

1. Project Goal

• Students can talk about a person they admire using simple English.

• Students use Present Simple in affirmative, negative and question forms.

• Students learn and use vocabulary for professions and personality traits.

• Students develop speaking, research, creativity and presentation skills.

2. Project Stages

Stage 1 – Brainstorming

• Who is a hero? Who is your hero? Why do you admire this person?

• What does your hero do? What qualities does he/she have?

Stage 2 – Vocabulary

People and professions: teacher, doctor, firefighter, scientist, athlete, artist, writer, singer, volunteer, leader.

Personality: brave, kind, helpful, honest, strong, hardworking, intelligent, friendly, generous, responsible, creative, successful.

Useful phrases: My hero is… / He/She is… / He/She works as… / He/She helps… / He/She inspires me. / I admire him/her because…

Stage 3 – Grammar: Present Simple

• Affirmative: He helps people. She works hard. He lives in Georgia.

• Negative: He doesn’t give up. She doesn’t ignore people.

• Questions: What does he/she do? Where does he/she live? Why do you admire him/her?

• Rule: He/She/It + verb + s/es; doesn’t + base verb.

3. Student Task

Choose one person who is your hero: a family member, teacher, doctor, athlete, scientist, historical person, famous person, or someone who helps others.

Create a poster or a 5–7 slide presentation. Include:

• Name – Who is your hero?

• Basic information – Where does he/she live? What does he/she do?

• Personality – What is he/she like?

• Achievements – What does he/she do/is famous for?

• Why is he/she your hero?

• What can you learn from this person?

• Picture(s)

4. Presentation

Each student gives a 2–3 minute presentation. Students should speak clearly, use Present Simple and answer 1–2 questions from classmates.

Possible questions: Who is your hero? What does he/she do? Where does he/she live? What is he/she like? Why do you admire him/her? What can you learn from your hero?

5. Presentation Assessment Rubric – 20 points

Criteria 4 – Excellent 3 – Good 2 – Developing 1 – Needs improvement

Content Complete, interesting and well organized. Mostly complete. Partly complete. Very little information.

Present Simple Correct and varied use. A few minor errors. Several important errors. Has difficulty using the tense.

Vocabulary Wide and appropriate vocabulary. Appropriate vocabulary. Limited vocabulary. Very limited vocabulary.
