Topic :  Technologies

Organization: group work/ individual

Attendance:  3 mins



Aims and objectives :

         students will be able to think critically  about  different technologies and appreciate advantages and disadvantages.

         Students will be able to make  a small presentation.

Anticipated problems  : Students might not be aware of some vocabulary in the text.

Materials: projector, computer, WB, markers, notebooks ,pens, papers.

Presentation  ( 5 min)

Teacher asks  Ss what is Technology?  And explains the word with a help of Ss.

 Gives an explanation of the word.

Practice/ production:

·        Teacher shows a power point  slide of different  technologies : old and developed ones gives a little information, and  asks learners to name the things / positives and negatives of the ones.    (10 min )


·        In groups of 4;  Ss  read different essays  about technologies and  write out the main  mentioned  topics (also they underline or write out new words for themselves) and  make a poster   (15 mins)

·        Each group shares the gained info to the class   12 min ( for each group 3 mins)
